Subpart 1: Equipment sizing
A. HVAC equipment must be sized according to the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals, ACCA Manual J, or an equivalent method. Oversizing of heating equipment must not exceed 43 percent and oversizing of cooling equipment must not exceed 21 percent.Note that this requirement does not include part S of the ACCA manual.
