Subpart 2: Equipment Sizing
HVAC equipment must be sized according to the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamental or ACCA Manual J.

Note: These requirements do not include part S of the ACCA manual.

Minnesota Rule 7676.1100 (for all buildings over three stories)
Building Mechanical Systems, Subpart 1
Building mechanical systems must be designed and constructed in accordance with this part. Standards and definitions for building mechanical systems, including, but not limited to, service systems, sequence system, thermostat, terminal element, and zone, are located in Code of Federal Regulations, title 10, parts 430 and 435, Energy Conservation Standards for Consumer Products and Energy Conservation Voluntary Performance Standards for new buildings
