If irrigation is necessary, use recycled greywater, roof water, collected site run-off or an irrigation system that will deliver up to 95 percent of the water supplied.

Codes and Regulations
Minnesota Rules, Chapter 7080 has some restrictions on the use of greywater and may not allow its use for irrigation.
Pollution Control Agency
CHAPTER 7080 Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Design Standards for Individual Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems Compliance Criteria: 7800.1500, Subpart 2Graywater from dwellings structures without plumbing that originated from hand-carried water must not be discharged directly to surface waters, drainageways, or poorly drained soils; in a manner or volume harmful to the environment or public health; or in a manner that creates a public health nuisance as determined by the local unit of government.
